Edmondsham Weddings

Here, at Edmondsham, we have been hosting wedding receptions for over 20 years. Along with having so many years experience we strive to offer a personal, intimate day for you and your loved one and your guests so it is an occasion you can always treasure. We want you to feel at home here on your special day by creating a relaxing atmosphere and ensuring that everything runs smoothly for you from start to finish so you can feel comfortable and enjoy your wedding day.

Edmondsham House gardens are extensive (6 acre main garden and 1 acre walled garden), with the wedding couple and guests having exclusive use of the location for a marquee wedding reception on the large lawn adjacent to the Palladian style west wing of the manor house - which is floodlit.  We want you to feel important here and for that reason we don't do back to back weddings every day, meaning that you will have a day or two either side of your wedding for everything to be set up and packed away. 

Since we are located in a small village in the Dorestshire countryside there is no strict time limit for music. The normal price covers music up to 12am but this can be extended upon request. Edmondsham House is a Grade II* Elizabethan and Georgian family home, which offers a unique and beautiful scene for wedding photographs, as well as our gardens filled with vibrant flowers and unusual trees.

For those who are considering a traditonal wedding there is a Grade II* 12th Century church situated next to our gardens with direct access. The church seats 120 people.

Wedding receptions booked for 2023 will be £770

A visit to discuss your requirements and preferences with the owner and to look around the venue is recommended. You will be made most welcome.
